A Message from Keith Barclay, President & CEO of Hermetic Solutions Group
For the last several weeks, we have watched the COVID-19 pandemic unfold and affect everything we do in our daily lives. As we all continue to adapt to a fast-changing response by our government and communities, Hermetic Solutions Group is taking every step to ensure the health and safety of our employees in order to continue serving our customers and community.
Hermetic Solutions Group and all of its business units, including Hi-Rel Alloys, Hi-Rel Lids, Hi-Rel Products, Litron, PA&E, and Sinclair Manufacturing, serve multiple Critical Infrastructure / Essential Business sectors. Because of this, all of our facilities are open and fully operational. We are adhering to the following guidelines:
For our facilities in the United States, we follow guidelines set in:
Essential Business for Critical Infrastructure as defined by US Department of Homeland Security.
For our facility in Canada, we follow guidelines set in:
Essential Workplaces as defined by the Office of the Premier of Ontario, Canada.
For our facility in the UK, we follow guidelines set in:
Critical Infrastructure business as defined by the UK Government Critical National Infrastructure.
As CEO, I am proud to serve and work for a company that manufactures products to help protect our communities and the health of its citizens. I’m equally proud of the dedication our employees continue to exhibit during this uncertain time.
Employee Safety and Support
As a company, we are fully focused on doing everything we can to protect the health of our employees at work and to keep our facilities open. In doing so, we are positively affecting the lives of our valued employees, as well as ensuring we can continue to support these critical infrastructures in a time of uncertainty. In order to ensure risk to our staff is minimized, we have implemented policies and procedures that follow CDC and WHO guidance. These policies incorporate prevention and social distancing strategies, as well as an increase in cleaning of all offices and manufacturing facilities. We have also restricted travel on behalf of the company and instituted a pre-screening questionnaire for all visits to our facilities.
In the event that an employee experiences symptoms of or tests positive for COVID-19, or is exposed to someone who tests positive, we will initiate our rapid action plan that adheres to all guidelines set forth by our facilities’ local health departments.
Additionally, we hold daily conference calls with the facility leadership teams to share best practices and continue to provide regular updates to our employees as the situation unfolds. Without our employees, there is no Hermetic Solutions Group.
Our Customers and Community
